Is it possible to get YouTube Premium cheaper with a VPN?

Ana sayfa / Social Media

Google has taken action against YouTube Premium users who use VPNs to access lower-priced subscriptions in other countries. Many subscribers reported that their subscriptions were recently terminated without warning.

Google is showing no mercy to users who commit region fraud for YouTube Premium. According to social media posts, the company has suddenly started canceling some YouTube Premium subscriptions. These accounts were reportedly signed up via VPN from countries where YouTube Premium is cheaper, such as Ukraine.

Users who encountered Google’s cancellation received warnings that it was due to a change in location. They were told to re-subscribe using a local payment method and an address that matched their actual region.

Elden Ring 1.12 update: Maintance before Shadow of the Erdtree

Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree will be launching tomorrow, following the release of Update 1.12.

This move actually reflects YouTube Premium’s regional pricing policies. Google prices its subscriptions according to the economic conditions of each market. However, with a VPN, it is possible to join the network of different countries and subscribe at cheaper prices.

Some users said they were able to contact customer service and cancel their subscriptions. However, most learned that cancellations are irreversible and were faced with address verification. VPN users from multiple countries reported the same problem.

Google has not made an official statement regarding subscriptions made with a VPN. However, this could lead to a review of the regional pricing policy.
